Challenge
TDC Erhverv is investing heavily in 5G and NB-IoT and wanted to serve SMB clients' demand for managed IoT services. The concept existed — but execution experience with IoT and big-data product development was missing.
Solution
Flowtale built the IoT Box: a reusable end-to-end system on Azure applying best practice in architecture, device integration, security, scalability, multi-tenancy, data engineering, analytics and dashboards.
- IoT Box MVP. First version of the reusable end-to-end platform, production-grade from the start.
- Pilot at a major airport. Asset tracking and waste management combined — optimising the cleaning-vehicle fleet and improving traveller experience.
- Product roadmap. True to the Flowtale Way, all learnings were consolidated into a two-year product roadmap for the IoT Box.
